MESSAGE TO MODERATOR

Hello Moderator. My name is Darren Parker and this is my blog; it contains all of the work undertaken as part of the G324 A2 Coursework Portfolio Unit within the OCR CGE course in Media Studies.

I chose to work in a group of two, to produce a music video to the track "Not Nineteen Forever" by the band "The Courteeners". The project lasted four months, commencing in September 2013 and cumulating in February / March 2013.

I hope you enjoy my work and find it both successful and interesting.

Please use the navigation bar on the top of the page in order to access my work, as organised into the four stages: Research, Planning & Construction, Final Products and the Evaluation.

Yours thankfully

Darren Parker

FINAL CUT

Here is or final cut, our own created music video of the song The Courteeners - Not Nineteen forever.

ROUGH CUT 2

Here is our second rough cut. I have tampered with the music video at the end by adding some more editing techniques in order to improve our grade. After doing the shooting schedule, I realised that there simply wasn't enough camera angles or editing techniques in order to reach the higher marks. The video mainly consisted of medium shots. Although for some reason, YouTube makes the lip syncing out of time with the music although it was perfectly fine on Final Cut. This is beyond my power and there is no way I can change this. In the final cut, the logo will be placed in the introduction to the song.
